W e’d love to have you join the Rogue Valley Peace Choir, a secular, no-audition choir that gives performances of songs that focus on peace, social justice, and environmental stewardship.  The Choir is a 501c(3) non-profit, with a long history of bringing music to communities in the Rogue Valley.

Our season runs from September through May with performances throughout the season. Weekly rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at First United Methodist Church, 175 N. Main St., Ashland.

We perform throughout the season in a variety of venues: schools, retirement homes, art events, fundraisers for social causes, and holiday events.  In May, we  give a final concert for the community to end the season.

We are friendly, welcoming folks—about 60+ of us– who love to sing and care for each other and our world.  If you can carry a tune, please consider joining.  (Being able to read music is a plus but not required.)

Dues are $225 for the full nine-month season (with a variety of payment plans) and help to cover the costs of our music, venues for rehearsals and performances, and salaries of our artistic director and accompanist.  Scholarships are available for low-income persons and students.

Covid Policy

The Rogue Valley Peace Choir Board believes that vaccinations with boosters are the best choice for our society to prevent the spread of COVID. For everyone’s safety, we ask that our members be vaccinated and preferably boosted, but this is not required for participation.  Also, please do not attend rehearsals if you are experiencing COVID symptoms.  Masks are not required at rehearsals, but members may wear them as they see fit.
